Acacia Hills Geisha AB – New Harvest by SOLO Brewing
This coffee carries a special story in the history of SOLO Brewing. In 2024, the previous harvest of this Geisha was selected after a highly competitive selection among Portuguese roasteries and chosen as the official coffee of the Portuguese Aeropress Championship. For a young roastery, this recognition was an honor and a milestone, proving the quality of our sourcing and roasting.
We are now proud to release the new harvest of this remarkable Geisha from Acacia Hills, Tanzania. Unlike the previous AA lot, this release comes from the Geisha AB variety, offering a unique expression of the terroir while preserving the clarity and elegance that made it stand out. Expect layers of delicate sweetness reminiscent of waffles, floral notes of orange blossom, and juicy peach flavors, all wrapped in a silky body with a lingering smooth finish.
Process Information
The cherries are carefully sorted in the field and at the washing station before de-pulping in the evening. The coffee undergoes open fermentation for 12 to 13 hours, with close monitoring to ensure balance and precision. After fermentation, the beans are washed and graded into P1, P2, and floaters. Drying takes place over 13 to 16 days, depending on weather conditions, until the parchment reaches a moisture content of 12 percent. Finally, the coffee is moved to a dry storage area to preserve its integrity before export.
